As most of Suzuki's films 'The youth of the beast' has a lot of poor acted, poor written scenes that if you watch them separetelly you will rather pass. However, the inspired moments overcome this feeling, when the genious of the director breaks various film stereotypes or when he gives to violence a such attractive face that you almost get instantly addicted to the visuals of the film. In terms of style, 'The youth of the beast" is one of the most interesting films of the director
